I haven't felt like updating my blog, but feel I should update for those who may not know. December 22 was a very sad day for our family. That was the day my Dad went to be with the Lord, he is no longer here with us on this earth. I miss him so much, wish I could talk to him and give him another hug.
But I am thankful for the time I had with him and all of the memories.
I am thankful I will see him again, as this life on earth is only temporary.
I am thankful that my eternal home is in heaven, where I know my Dad is now.
I am thankful for the legacy of faith and trust in God that my Dad left us with. A legacy I will pass on.
Please keep my precious Mom and our family in your prayers.
Ingredients for Reindeer Food
½ cup chocolate chips
½ cup chocolate Nutella
4½ cups Corn Chex cereal
2 tbsp butter
2 cups powdered sugar
Red and Green M&Ms
In a bowl, melt the butter, chocolate chips, and Nutella. Melt them
in 30-second stages. Melt for 30-seconds, remove/stir and continue doing this 2
more times. Once it is mixed, pour the chocolate mixture over the Chex
and stir, coating the cereal evenly. Transfer the Chex to a ziplock bag
containing the powdered sugar. Seal the bag and shake like you’ve never
shook before. Once all the cereal is coated in the powdered sugar, toss
in red and green m&m’s and serve. You can store it in the bag for a
couple of weeks. But if your house is anything like mine, it would last 2
