Sunday News

Last night I decided to sort out a storage cabinet that is in our laundry room. What I thought would be a  simple 30 minute job, turned into a 3 hour complex  job of sorting and throwing away. lol Lots of crafting items are stored in there, along with gift wrapping supplies, bubble wrap for packaging, candle making supplies, etc. To my surprise I came across a stack of old LP albums from the 80's.  Here are a couple!

I am not sure how we acquired these albums..hmmm.
I wish I would have found my albums from the 70's! But I do believe they are long gone.

Went to church today, awesome as always! Love all of our church family, what a blessing!
After the praise and worship this morning, I was a helper in Sunday School, Toddler class. The kids are so precious.

This Wednesday night Sanctus Real, is performing at our church!!  So exciting! Got my tickets today, really looking forward it. :-)

Have a happy and blessed Sunday!

I have been enjoying a rainy day around the house.  Been busy with housework and laundry..you know, the usual.  Took a couple minutes to take these "rainy day" pics.

We were having lunch at Rosies Italian Grille.  It was great to get a photo of us all together. :-)

That's about it for now. I will try to update again soon!

Catching Up..I doubt it!

Our county fair started on Sunday. Dan and I went earlier today, had  a nice time walking around and of course eating some "fair food".   I especially love going to the fair and have many wonderful memories of our fair.  I was involved in 4H growing up and then my kids were also involved in 4H, especially Kelly. For several years I volunteered as a leader and superintendent.  I can't say enough good things about the Monroe County 4H program and the Monroe County Fair.
VBS went great last week! I had a lot of fun helping and teaching the kids.  :-)
I did miss one night of VBS, Thursday evening.  We attended a Toledo Mud Hens game.  My uncle Dale, who passed away this past Spring was a huge baseball fan, ..The  Mud Hens and Detroit Tigers.  We had a group of 200 people attend the game in my uncle's memory. My aunt Grace threw out the first pitch, it was awesome!
Here is a pic of her on the stadium's big screen.
Here a couple more pics from the game.

Fireworks after the game were great! This is just a sample.
It was a fun evening with family and friends. I have lots more photos. Check them out on my facebook page.
This week is busy as well. We have the family reunion coming up Sunday..LOTS to do for that yet, yikes!!

Take care and God bless!!
