I've always loved this quote and this painting is very moving.

Check out Tuesday's info post.

Now some random questions to get my mind off things....

It is a sorrowful time with all that is going on in our country, our world.
I am so very thankful for the Lord.

Dan, sweet Dan

Bear with me, I'll do my best to explain the latest news. 😌
Dan just spent a couple days at the Ann Arbor VA Hospital. He went for a cardiac ablation, this is due to Ischemic cardiomyopathy and frequent PVCs.  They also did a programmed stimulation to determine if Dan would need an ICD  (permantly implanted defibrillator) in the future.  Well, it turned out that for some reason there were no PVCs when they prepared to do the ablation! So, of course they couldn't do the ablation. They went on and did the stimulation testing. This testing proved he urgently needed the ICD. The doctor spoke to Dan prior to this and Dan already agreed to ICD, if it was needed. The doctor came out and spoke to me before they performed the surgery.  He explained this device was needed to prevent death if Dan were to have a cardiac episode, that is it's main purpose.  There are follow up appointments and other treatment plans, will be made for his original issues.

Dan is home now and doing well. He is sore from the surgery and has to take it easy for a bit. We are both learning about this and writing this post is helping me get things down with links for explanations.

Here is the fascinating thing about what happened.  IF Dan had had the ablation, he would be on blood thinners for a while afterwards. And the ICD surgery, that would have to wait!
The doctors, nurses were amazed, they said it is very unusual for things to happen this way.

As one of my close friends said, "Sounds like the Lord was watching over him again by getting him this surgery in place of the other."

Thank God, for watching over my sweet Dan!

Be blessed
Hold your loved ones close.
xoxo

Happy Sunday!

Hope you are all having a blessed day! It is sunny and breezy here in Michigan, temps about 70 degrees. Lovely weather for sure! 🌞

We have been preparing our yard for the landscaping company to come in and put down sod this week. So much to do since the fire.  Dan has been putting up a new fence as well. Thankfully, some of our family have been so kind to help us with this huge project. I will post pics later when everything is finished. 😍

I made a couple new pages, one page is about my dear Mom and the other new page is about the fire.  Links at the top as well.

So much life has happened.

Hello! It has been over 2 years since my last post.  I have been thinking of blogging again for months.
A lot has happened in the past couple of years. Our lives have changed so much.  I plan on updating here, documenting all that has happened. Hopefully I will be consistent and keep blogging.
I'd love to catch up with old blogging friends and meet new friends.

OK, you say, what? You are going to start blogging again?

Well...
