Happy Monday~

Happy Monday! I hope the weekend was a good one for you. 💕 I have been doing things around the house. You know, the usual...laundry and cleaning.  Saturday, I did a small amount of yard work. I trimmed the maple tree that is in my rock garden, pulled weeds. Felt good to get that accomplished.

Sunday was church. So good to be with our church family worshipping the Lord.

Have a lovely day, I will leave you with following.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Isaiah 41:10

As we step into the day, let's remember Isaiah 41:10. God tells us that we needn't be afraid or overwhelmed, for He is always with us. He is our strength in times of weakness and our helper in times of need, and He upholds us with His righteous hand. This reassuring promise is a reminder of God's unfailing presence and support, fueling us with courage and hope as we face our daily challenges

Quote of the Day

"When we long for life without difficulties, remind us that oaks grow strong in contrary winds and diamonds are made under pressure."

— Peter Marshall

Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, socially distancing

I hope you are all staying safe and well. Dan and I are at home. I only go out occasionally for supplies. Dan has many health issues, so it is extremely important that he stays home.
We miss everyone and are so thankful for our family and friends calling and texting to check on us!
Thankful for Foundation Stone our home church and Impact Life Church, our church in Destin, Florida. We have been doing online church since this isolation started.  Thank you pastors and worship teams.    Trusting Jesus through all of this.

It has warmed up since my last post, so glad!

Trees, flower, shrubs are budding and blooming.

We had wonderful family special days.
Saturday was Aunt Royetta's surprise 80th birthday party.
What a fun time and she was so suprised!
Sunday was a beautiful Easter.
So thankful for all that Jesus has done for us.
Church was wonderful.

Happy Easter!

Lots of preparation going on around here for our family get together Sunday afternoon.  We are cooking two turkeys. I will cook one the normal way in the oven and Dan is going to cook the other one in his Oil-Less Infrared Turkey Fryer.
Normally we cook one big 24 lb. turkey in the oven for our get togethers. But this fryer won't hold a turkey that large. So, there will be two smaller turkeys. Hmmm...wonder which one will taste better? ;)  We will have about 25 people this year for Easter dinner.

Looking forward to Easter Sunday's church service, celebrating Christ's resurrection! I am so thankful that Jesus died for us, rose from the dead, and now we can have eternal life with Him!

Thank You Lord! Easter Sunday at church is always wonderful celebrating with church family, special music, all the gorgeous flowers decorating the sanctuary and seeing all the kids in their cute outfits.

Easter candy, oh boy, it is a weakness of mine. I love it all. I was going to try not to overdo it this year. But, Dan and I went grocery shopping TOGETHER yesterday. He bought SO much candy!

I LOVE Jellybeans.
I told him we do NOT need that much!! Ha ha!  He justified it by telling me we were having lots of company and it is Easter after all!

 Have a happy, blessed Easter!

A good morning praise

"From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised." ~ Psalm 113:3

This morning I am going to the ladies breakfast at our church.
A great time of fellowship and yummy food.
Have a fabulous weekend!
