Happy Caffeinated Friday

 What a cute pic, right?  

Yesterday was a fun lunch out with my Mom and mother/daughter friends of ours, Cathy and Kay. We had a great time catching up and laughing.  Kay and I go way back, friends for years and Mom and Cathy are close friends as well.  Hope we can do it again soon.

Tonight we are attending a high school musical. Angel, the daughter of close friends, Dave and Shellie, has a main part in the musical, Happy Days.  We have known Angel since she was a baby and have watched her grow up to a lovely young lady. We are looking forward to supporting her this evening and hanging out with Dave and Shellie!!

coffee?!

I am officially a coffee drinker! 

 I have tried to like coffee my entire adult life, but never acquired a taste for it.  I have been a tea (hot) drinker for many years.

When we at the cottage with Chris and Emily in February, Emily introduced me to coffee mixed with dark hot chocolate mix.  YUM!  That was the start to my coffee drinking.  

Once I was back home I experimented with coffee, adding creamer, Splenda and a bit of dark chocolate syrup. It was a hit!  Next I tried it without the chocolate, another hit!  I have tried a couple different flavored creamers and so far I am really enjoying drinking coffee. I try to keep it as low cal as possible. I use ff/nonfat creamer and Splenda.  Today I found this heavenly coffee...

 Oh. my. goodness. This coffee is so delicious!! 

I found it at Target. 

I think I will go back and get more because I believe it is a limited edition.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hit Again...

We were hit with another major snowstorm. It started Tuesday night and continued through Wednesday afternoon. We ended up with about 8 inches, this time.
