Happy Wednesday!   I saw this sign at a local shop and then found it online, I think it is great, don't you?

Well, Kelly is having a wonderful time in Florida, today is swimming with the dolphins. Yesterday she did yoga on the beach!  I can't wait to see pics!

Wisteria & Wild Weather

Sharing the wisteria that is blooming in our yard.  It is so pretty and the fragrance is gorgeous!
As you can probably see, the fence is in need of replacement, that will be a Spring 2011 project.

We are under a tornado watch right now until 11 pm.  It has been a rainy, stormy evening, but I don't mind, in fact I rather like it!

I hope to post again tomorrow, but just in case I don't..wishing all the Moms out there a very Happy Mother's Day!!

Computer, Sweet Computer

I am back online, praise the Lord!  We are blessed with a very nice young man, who works on our computer when needed. He came over last night when he got off work and spent about 3 hours working on this computer. I don't really know how to explain all that was wrong with it.  But Firefox ended up getting uninstalled and reinstalled.  There was a ton of spyware that had to be cleaned out. Also there was a problem with it defragging, which is fixed now. My printer hasn't been working and he got that going again as well. I am so thankful!!

It has been a very nice day, sunny and warm.  This morning I had my ladies bible study group and tonight I teach Rainbows at church. Rainbows are for children ages 3-5, the kids are just adorable and I enjoy being there with them. I share the teaching responsibilities with two other women, Shelli and Kim, which are both excellent teachers and so good with the kids. Tonight one of the crafts they will be making are Mother's Day cards. Last Wednesday we made bird feeders with bagels, peanut butter and bird seed. We have fun on Wednesday nights!

Computers..

Quick post before this computer freezes up again. I am having problems..so if you don't see me around much online, it's because this computer is misbehaving. Would appreciate prayers that is recovers. :-)

Loving Spring

We are having a really beautiful Spring.  Lilacs, one of my very favorite flowers are in bloom.  This is one section of our largest lilac bush.

Weekend Festivities

Happy Monday!  We had a fun weekend. Both birthday parties we attended were a lot of fun.


Friday night was Jakes party..celebrating his 14th birthday!

Saturday was Megan's 18th birthday!

My nephew, Derek is home on leave for a couple weeks from the Navy. Sunday he went to church with us and after church we went for dinner at a wonderful Mexican restaurant that is near our church, El Camino Real Sky.

Friday, Family, Friends, Fun

Happy Friday!  Dan has a strange work schedule and has odd days off for the most part. 
So, I am very happy that he has the next four nights off, yay!

It is going to be a fun and busy time with family and friends this weekend. Tonight we are going to my nephew Jake's birthday party. Tomorrow afternoon we are hosting a family meeting (Dan's side) to plan the family reunion.  Then later after the meeting we have a birthday party at my sister's house for my niece Megan. 

Sunday is church and I am not sure what we are doing after. If the weather cooperates I would like to get some yard work done.  

But, I do believe that rain is predicted for the next few days.

 Rain or shine, it be will filled with family, friends and fun!

Here is our new birdhouse that we have hanging in the tree that is in our rock garden.

It is a beautiful Spring day, sunny, temps in the high 60's.  All of the trees and flowers are so pretty.

Birthdays...

Today is my hubby Dan's birthday!  I know he probably won't see this, but..

We didn't have a big celebration since he worked last night and has to work tonight.  I did get him his favorite,  a yummy German chocolate cake from Meijer bakery.  Kelly and I will give him his birthday presents tonight before he goes to work.

Monday night we celebrated my brother Tim's birthday at Texas Roadhouse, it was fun and I took some pics but I haven't uploaded them to the computer yet. We have more birthday parties coming up this weekend.  My nephew Jake is turning 14, his party is Friday night and my niece Megan's party is Saturday, she is turning 18.

The weather is beautiful, sunny and temps near 70.  Our Spring has been gorgeous this year! My lilac bushes are just about in bloom! Yay! Haven't taken pics yet but here is a pic from last year. I love Lilacs, they are one of my favorite flowers.
