Day 21 Of 25 Days of Christmas

Day 21 Of 25 Days of Christmas

Reindeer Food

I made this very yummy treat.

The recipe comes from Monica Potter.

Ingredients for Reindeer Food
½ cup chocolate chips
½ cup chocolate Nutella
4½ cups Corn Chex cereal
2 tbsp butter
2 cups powdered sugar
Red and Green M&Ms

In a bowl, melt the butter, chocolate chips, and Nutella. Melt them in 30-second stages. Melt for 30-seconds, remove/stir and continue doing this 2 more times. Once it is mixed, pour the chocolate mixture over the Chex and stir, coating the cereal evenly. Transfer the Chex to a ziplock bag containing the powdered sugar. Seal the bag and shake like you’ve never shook before. Once all the cereal is coated in the powdered sugar, toss in red and green m&m’s and serve. You can store it in the bag for a couple of weeks. But if your house is anything like mine, it would last 2 days.

I wonder how long it will last in our house??

  1. This sounds wonderful but too dangerous to have much of it as our house! My daughter in law Stephanie does all sorts of amazing things with Nutella!
