Don't Just Endure It

Happy Saturday, it is a very windy, cold and snowy day here in Michigan.

But it's winter, right?

OK, where is the sidewalk...snow drifts

brrrr...

waiting for Spring...
I realize it is way too cold here in Michigan right now.
The snow and ice can be inconvenient, even dangerous.
BUT, I love living here.

I wouldn't want to live where I couldn't have these four seasons
and all of the changes that come with each one.
As I tire of each season, whether it is the bitterness of winter
or the unbearable heat & humidity of summer,
I know that a new season is right around the corner.

Spring will be even more glorious after this harsh winter.
So, where ever you live, where ever you are,
enjoy the season you are in...
live it, enjoy it,
don't just endure it.

be blessed...always

  1. Hi Pam. Yes you are lucky to experience the true 4 seasons. I think we had one month of cold weather and now it seems like spring. Flowers are budding and we still have Feb-Mar. when we can cold weather. You take really nice pictures! I like that There is no place like home graphic. It says just the right thing. Have a great week. Hugs

  2. I am telling you, I do not envy your weather at all!! You guys have had it so rough. Any time you want to visit San Diego, just holler! I wished we would get some kind of winter, but they are saying NO! They've even kept fire season open all year. Anywho, enjoyed reading your blog again. I'm going to try really hard to stick with it more. I miss looking back on old posts!

  4. Hi Pam! We are getting the cold without the snow. We've only had about 5 or 6 inches so far this winter--not that I'm complaining, but we do need some moisture. Time goes so fast. It will be spring (and then summer) before we know it. Stay safe and warm. Hugs!

  6. Same here, I love having 4 Seasons. And if you do, you have to have each one of them, in their turn. :-)

Gotta' keep trying to see the Beauty in each one... Until the next Season peeks over the window sill.
