A Brave Young Woman

I am posting this anti bullying ribbon in support of brave young woman, Chase, who is the sister of my daughter in law, Sabrina.  Chase was attacked on the school bus by a fellow student while another student video recorded it and posted it on Facebook and other websites. Chase is OK physically, thank God.  There is  a lot to the story,  you can read about it here and here.  Bless you Chase for wanting to make a stand and bring awareness to this issue!
Please keep Chase and her family in your prayers.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

  1. So much bullying in the news which is a good thing because it's drawing a lot of attention to it. I know as a teacher I saw plenty of it going on in schools. Hope the student who posted the video gets in trouble, too.

Like your jars. I saw labels to print on Pinterest that would be good for your jars. :)

  2. Hi Pam,
I kept getting error messages trying to leave you a comment over the weekend? So lets see if this works? I too remember a lot of bullying when I was in school. Girls beating up other girls for no reason and guys doing the same. Sad! I always wonder what those people grow up being like when they are adults? Hope you have a wonderful Monday. Hugs, Dru

  3. Hi Pam! Bullying is such a horrific thing that needs to stop. Unfortunately, there are far too many teachers, principles, bus drivers that witness it and do NOTHING about it. I was just reading a story how a young man was bullied so bad and the teacher did nothing. His bully attacked him in the play ground and he had to be put in a medically induced coma. The school suspended him for two days and the police filed no criminal charges. This kind of stuff needs to stop and as a society we need to demand that it stops.

I'm very sorry about Chase. I'm glad that she is physically alright. I hope that they do something about her bully.
    Have a great day! hugs

  4. Awful stuff. Bullying has gone on since the beginning of time and very few step in to help that is another awful part of it all.
May God put his protection around her and keep her from trouble. And I hope the bullies get their heads straightened out sooner than later.
