*My Mom*

Many of you who read this knew my Mom, Alice. She enjoyed Facebook and has many friends there! She loved staying connected with family and friends from all over the world. She had a blog for a few years as well. She went by Alice Mum. 💚 Her blog is here, if you'd like to take a peek. The last time she posted  was in November of 2015.  It is bittersweet for me to go through her blog posts and photos. But I am so thankful her blog and Facebook page are still there.

Mom went to be with Jesus on December 9, 2020 after a long fight with Covid and it's horrible effect on her body. She fought as long as she could. We miss her more than I can ever express.  She was my Mother, one of my best friends, Grandma to my children and Great Grandma to my grandchildren. It is hard to explain the void I feel with her no longer here with us. There are so many things I want to tell her, ask her advice, laugh with her. Everyone misses her terribly and we talk about her all of the time.  She is with the Lord and my Dad, that is a comfort. I am beyond grateful that I will see them both again someday.

  3. I loved your mom so much and one of my biggest blessing was being able to meet her and spend time with her in Mackinaw City.

  4. Alice Mum was such a special lady and I do miss her. We used to email back and forth and she always had such a wonderful attitude. She was a blessing. I was so sad to hear of her passing but as they say - our loss is heaven's gain. I'll get to see her again some day!
