Rain, Tea & Naturally Thin by Bethenny Frankel

Happy rainy Monday!  I have had a busy day and I am glad to be home now, nice and cozy and drinking tea.  I teach a preschool language arts class on Monday and Friday mornings.  This afternoon I had an appointment at the hairdresser and an appointment with my Chiropractor.  Also stopped at Kroger's for a few items.  Anyway, it's nice to be home on this cold, rainy evening.
I am rereading my Bethenny Frankel books, Naturally Thin and The Skinnygirl Dish.  I really like her approach to cooking and eating. We can be 'naturally thin' without starvation dieting, feeling hungry and deprived.
Saturday I made Whole Wheat Fusilli with Tomato, Basil, Pine Nuts and Smoked Mozzarella from 'Naturally Thin'.  YUM!

I also made some very delicious granola, one of Bethenny's recipes, homemade-almond-berry-granola. I tweaked it a bit, used raw honey in place of the maple syrup, I also added some mini chocolate chips and raisins.

Oh yes,  Happy Belated Saint Patrick's Day!

 Be blessed!
