Home again, for a bit and an orange dinosaur

Home now after another trip up north to the cottage this past week. Dan has been working on the excavator over on the hunting property. It has been one thing after another with that thing, which I call the Orange Dinosaur.

I spent time with Rosie and did some cleaning around the cottage.

Of course, it is always fun to watch the birds at our feeders and Rosie's feeders.

Some more beauty!

lilacs and snowball bush

Rosie picked up her new glasses! SO cute!

Love her. 💖

The boys always enjoy time at the cottage as well.

Charlie and Tucker 💙💙

be blessed!

The Vine B &B, Rixci and Rosie

I love this sweet photo of our granddaughter Rixci on Easter
at my brother and sister in law's B & B.
Rixci's beautiful outfit fits in perfectly with this historic house.

When I was at our cottage last week I took my dear friend Rosie to our friend Laura's greenhouse. Laura lives about one mile from Rosie and us. Laura has beautiful flowers and vegetable plants. We had so much fun looking around.

Enjoy your weekend!

Spring~Cottage~30th Anniversary~Mother's Day~Gardening

Here are a few pics I took while we were at our cottage!
The weather was beautiful, temps in the 60's and 70's.

Tucker and Charlie

Dan and I celebrated our 30th anniversary while we were up there. Our anniversary was on Sunday, May 15.  Same day as Mother's Day! Since it was Mother's Day weekend, we went out for a nice dinner Friday evening at Antler's Fireside Grill . SO good!

Fettuccini Alfredo
House made parmesan alfredo sauce with fettuccini noodles
 and shaved asparagus. With scallops.
Salmon Oscar
Grilled salmon, lump crab, bearnaise sauce, rice pilaf, and green beans.
Cherry Cobbler
Michigan sweet cherries infused with bourbon, topped with a sweet crust,
and a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

Mother's Day I talked to all of my kids and a few of the grandkids.
It was a nice, relaxing day.

Of course, I was especially missing my mom on Mother's Day.
This is the third Mother's Day without her.

I am back home for a few days.
Babysitting for some of the grandkids a couple days this week.
I plan on working in my rock garden on Saturday, sprucing it up a bit!

Be blessed!

Oops, I did it again..

I know, it has been over a month. I had planned on keeping up here, blogging most days.

What happened?

Well, let's start again, shall we?

We spent a few days at our cottage over the 4th of July.
Just Dan and I and our sweet dogs, Bentley and Tucker.

I never get tired of this view!

.  We had a good time with our friend/neighbor Rosie. Love here!

We paid a visit to Dan's Uncle Don and Aunt Jewell, while we were up there.
We love them! Such a great couple.
They have been married 69 years.
Uncle Don just celebrated his 88th birthday.

Have a happy & safe weekend!
