Reindeer Food

 I made this very yummy treat.

The recipe comes from Monica Potter.

Ingredients for Reindeer Food
½ cup chocolate chips
½ cup chocolate Nutella
4½ cups Corn Chex cereal
2 tbsp butter
2 cups powdered sugar
Red and Green M&Ms

In a bowl, melt the butter, chocolate chips, and Nutella. Melt them in 30-second stages. Melt for 30-seconds, remove/stir and continue doing this 2 more times. Once it is mixed, pour the chocolate mixture over the Chex and stir, coating the cereal evenly. Transfer the Chex to a ziplock bag containing the powdered sugar. Seal the bag and shake like you’ve never shook before. Once all the cereal is coated in the powdered sugar, toss in red and green m&m’s and serve. You can store it in the bag for a couple of weeks. But if your house is anything like mine, it would last 2 days.

  I wonder how long it will last in our house??

Cut Out Cookies Tip

 another batch of cut out sugar cookies.

Dan and I both love how the cookies turned out. 

They don't even need icing!

Mrs. Potter 2014 Summer Collection

This morning the FedEx guy rang the doorbell and left a package on our front porch.

As soon as I picked it up I noticed the logo on the box.

My 2014 Summer Kit arrived from Mrs. Potter!!

 Everything was packaged beautifully and all of the products arrived safely.

The hand-embroidered linen hand towel is beautiful, what a nice addition to the kit.

 I love how the large candle was wrapped in the towel.

The body lotion, body spray and hand sanitizer came in the

Oh my goodness, I can not even tell you how good everything smells!!  

I tried all of the products and lit the large candle. 

 Smells like pure Summer.
