sad, yet thankful

I haven't felt like updating my blog, but feel I should update for those who may not know. December 22 was a very sad day for our family.   That was the day my Dad went to be with the Lord, he is no longer here with us on this earth.  I miss him so much, wish I could talk to him and give him another hug. 
But I am thankful for the time I had with him and all of the memories. 
I am thankful I will see him again, as this life on earth is only temporary.
 I am thankful that my eternal home is in heaven, where I know my Dad is now. 
I am thankful for the legacy of faith and trust in God that my Dad left us with.  A legacy I will pass on. 
Please keep my precious Mom and our family in your prayers.

    Pam, what a sweet post. You and your Mom and Lori are in my prayers. You are right, what a legacy your Dad left. His faith lives on in his children. We all are lifting your family up in prayer.
