Tucker is doing well. Here are some recent pics of our "baby."

I have been thinking of going back to the "old" way of blogging, using html, getting my own website. I am checking things out. In the past I used Yahoo Geocities and it was free. When that closed I went to Blogger. I think it would be fun to work on my site, using all the graphics I have bought or collected over the years. Especially with Autumn here and Christmas just around the corner! Does anyone else miss this?

I lost all graphics when the computer blew up last year, so I have very few to use now. Just the ones that I had uploaded on Blogger over the years, or free ones that I managed to grab from CPC before Olli closed her site.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I really miss having a 'proper' website, but in truth it's just as well that I don't. I don't have time to sit and work out the html, or change graphics. I loved it, and I miss it, but it's nice not to have the pressure to try and keep everything fresh and updated.
I had a love/hate thing with all the seasonal cards. I loved getting them in my email, but disliked the time and effort it took to upload them and link back!
So I'm glad that I can just use blogger and be lazy. Though with their recent changes I'm fed up. I keep trying to change backgrounds but nothing happens. Why they had to change 'behind the scenes' is beyond me. Wish they'd left it alone, it was so much simpler to use.
Got your email, but have yet to reply! I will try and do it today, I'm terrible, and don't sign in to email every day!

Cute photos of Tucker! Puppies are such fun! I think everyone misses the old country graphics days. I used to have such fun decorating. Look forward to your autumn photos as the season progresses! (((Hugz)))
ReplyDeleteHi Pam, I am really enjoying my website again. I have cut way back on my FV. I am trying to "work" my mind by trying new things which is more challenging. Now once the weather really cools off, I plan to start walking. I bet you love to be at your cottage. Enjoy yourself. Hugs

ReplyDeleteI came in at the tail end of things but, I miss the country style blogs quite a bit and all the ladies who made the graphics. They were wonderful and it was a treat visiting.
I think we need hobbies like that to offset the busy times in life.
