Summer in April

Sunny and temps in the low 80's, that is forecast for today.   I enjoy each season and the changes that each brings. All of our trees are coming back to life and spring flowers are blooming.

If I feel up to it I am meeting my Mom, my sister and my sister in law for lunch  to celebrate  my sister's birthday.  It is a belated birthday  lunch because she was out of town on her actual birthday.  I  feel pretty good this morning so I should be able to make it. We are having lunch at Mongolian Barbecue.

Thought I would share one of the latest pics of my cutie grandsons Colton and Bradeon.  I wish they didn't live so far away. :(

Take care everyone, have a wonderful Thursday.

  1. Hi Pam;

    Your grandsons are so adorable! I know how you feel bout them living far away. My grandchildren & great grandsons live far away too. I haven't even met the littlest one yet and he's 10 months old already! So photos will have to do.

    While you are having weather in the 80's we are back to winter with weather in the 30's at night and 40s-50s in the afternoon. :(

    I pray you feel better and get to go out & celebrate your sister's birthday. Give my best to your mom. love & hugs

    I hope you feel up to meeting with your family. I checked out the restaurant, & I wish I could tag along! :-) You are blessed to have family live nearby.

  4. Hi Pam, that is a cute picture of your grandsons. I can't imagine not having mine close but when Renee moves away, I will understand how you feel. I use to have a green thumb. I do have a few plants growing at work and a few at home out the rich of babies. Hope you are feeling better. Hugs

    Now that the weather is getting nicer... we'll have to start planning our get together to finally meet! Maybe if Doug travels in May or June I can make a trip around the Lake ;-)

  6. Hi Pam,
    Hope you had fun going out to lunch with your Mom and Sister and SIL. Your weather sounds like ours. I love the 80's when it hits 90's in the summer I am not a happy camper. Your Grandon's are adorable. Have a wonderful Friday.

  7. I hope you are feeling better now Pam, sounds like your cold has wiped you out. I appreciate you stopping by to make a visit yesterday, when you are probably feeling a bit woolly headed!

    Gosh your grandsons are just adorable. Children grow up far too quickly don't they?!
